John S. “Condor” Andrews is running to serve our community on Virginia Beach City Council in District 8. He was raised in the Little Neck/Kingston area and after graduating from Virginia Tech and returning home, decided to dedicate his life to service. He joined the U.S. Navy where he led a distinguished 30-year career, for which he was awarded a Bronze Star, two Legions of Merit, and the Defense Meritorious Service Medal. He is married to Martha Owen, has four children and three grandchildren, and lives in the Chelsea neighborhood in Great Neck.
